leather Wallet
The leather wallet is crafted from sourced material, specifically raw cowhide in a rich dark crimson red. Meticulously hand-stitched with wax thread, the wallet achieves precise and accurate results thanks to the aid of a laser cutter.
Using the laser cutter, the wallet is cut with utmost precision and accuracy to ensure an exact fit. Every pocket, stitch, and pattern piece is precisely cut, aligning the stitch lines perfectly for seamless hand-stitching. Finally, the logo on the bottom left is meticulously engraved with the laser cutter, resulting in a clean and polished appearance.
Laser Cutter
-
The laser cutter is like a high-tech tool that uses a special kind of light called a laser. This laser is created inside a tube filled with a gas called CO2. The laser beam is then guided and concentrated onto the material's surface by using mirrors and lenses. To make the laser do different things, like cutting or engraving, the cutter follows instructions provided by files that contain images or designs. It's kind of like giving the laser cutter a map to follow so it knows exactly what to do.
-
Initially, the process of using the laser cutter involved familiarizing myself with the software and determining the correct settings to set up the file. This preparation proved invaluable, as it streamlined the precision of the cutting and facilitated the seamless hand sewing process.
Laser Cut Template
-
To ensure successful execution, the file had to be meticulously set up with specific parameters. This included using lines of 0.001 thickness with a stroke color of either red or blue, while avoiding any fill colors.
-
The process of making precise measurements was truly enjoyable as it allowed me to anticipate the cohesion and assembly of each piece.
High Quality Materals
-
This behind-the-scenes glimpse reveals the meticulous process involved in crafting the wallet, starting with measurements taken on graph paper to create a paper prototype. The initial prototype offered valuable insights into the final product's completion.
-
In the final stages of my bag creation, I designed a logo that evolved alongside the collection. The completed product proudly showcases the heart logo, engraved by the laser cutter, in the bottom left corner of the bag—a personal favorite aspect of the process.
UV Printer
-
The UV printer utilizes a unique printing process that involves the use of ultraviolet (UV) light to cure or dry the ink as it is printed onto a surface, including fabric. Here's a simplified explanation of how a UV printer prints a logo onto fabric
-
n order to ensure accurate logo placement on the desired area, the UV printer required careful leveling and height adjustment. The selection of specific points was crucial to achieve precise alignment and positioning during the printing process. This meticulous setup guaranteed that the logo would be printed exactly where intended on the fabric.
UV Printed template
-
The file setup for the UV printer was straightforward, involving a single stroke height in the illustration software and utilizing the color violet to represent white ink, which beautifully reflects on the fabric of the bag.
-
The UV printer was set up with the designated file, and the printing process commenced on the chosen material. It was truly captivating to witness the printer in action, bringing the design to life on the fabric.
HIgh quality materials
-
To achieve a substantial and sturdy feel, the bag was constructed by layering the same fabric for both the front and back panels, resulting in a thicker material. Seamlessly, I sewed through all layers in one fluid motion, creating a clean and polished appearance.
-
The logo was flawlessly printed in a striking black and white color scheme, resulting in a pristine and sharp appearance.

ovER THE sHOULDER bag
The over-the-shoulder phone bag is skillfully crafted using faux snake skin leather, enhanced with 1/4 top stitches along the edges for a sophisticated appearance. It features a customized hinge lock, specifically designed for comfortable shoulder carry and tailored to accommodate phones.
On the front of the bag, a UV printed logo captures the symbolism of intertwined and entangled emotions caused by mental strain, exerting a profound influence on decision-making. This phone bag serves as a vessel for a person's most valuable possession—a device capable of catalyzing significant life changes.
3D Printed Heart BAG
The anatomically correct 3D printed heart bag was meticulously designed and printed in two separate pieces: the top and bottom. Utilizing the capabilities of the printer, the heart structure was hollowed out, which required a total of 7 days to complete. To enable closure, a side hinge was incorporated to hold the heart together. Additionally, a magnet on the top and bottom was secured with hot glue to ensure a secure closure.
Completing the design, a chunky black chain with hinge hooks was added, allowing for fashionable and convenient carrying.
Symbolically, the hinge represents the element that holds individuals together, preventing them from falling apart. It showcases the significance of even the smallest things in preserving one's strength and resilience. This concept resonates with the inherent strength of the heart itself, highlighting the indomitable power individuals possess.
